So it's been a while I know, but what better time to return then right before the richest, greatest, most important boxing match our generation has ever seen?
Mayweather: 47 fights
47 wins
26 wins by KO
UNDEFEATED
Pacquiao: 64 fights
57 wins
5 losses
38 wins by KO
This historic fight has been 5 years in the making, after many disagreements and problems had continuously put the match-up on hold. But not anymore!
Now the whole world only has to wait another 6 hours to see the greatest pound-for-pound boxers go head-to-head in the richest boxing match ever, expected to be worth an eye-watering $350 million (£231 million), with Mayweather reportedly earning £5 million a minute. This is no doubt the biggest fight the world has ever seen since the likes of Muhammed Ali, Mike Tyson and Evander Holyfield graced the boxing ring.
After many ups and downs near-misses, the time for talking is almost over. It's time to find out who is the greatest fighter of our generation. My money is on a Pacman victory!
Stay tuned for my follow-up blog later on this week analysing and giving my opinions on the fight.
But until then, to my fellow Brits staying up to watch the fight, I'll see you at 4am!
